Below are some handy tips and guidelines to make the voting process easy.
If you’re struggling with too many or not enough songs in your list, think about the moments that meant the most. The tracks that instantly take you back. Your true favourites will reveal themselves in the memories they spark.
The Reminisce Top 50 is made up of the songs that finish between #1 and #50, as voted by the Reminisce community.
#1 is the song that receives the highest total points, not necessarily the one with the most individual votes.
Each voter gives 5 points to their #1 song, 4 points to their #2, and so on, down to 1 point for their #5.
If your favourite track isn’t already on the shortlist, you can add it manually during the voting process. Once added, it will remain in the list for others to select.
To keep the countdown true to its nostalgic roots, only songs released 10 years or earlier are eligible.
Songs that are too recent, or that have not regularly featured in house or trance sets, may not be included.
We apply a common-sense approach to this rule and have rarely needed to remove songs in the past.
Reminisce reserves the right to remove songs that:
Do not fit the criteria above
Are duplicates, incorrectly formatted, or spelled
Are incorrect versions or remixes
When duplicates or incorrect versions are removed, their votes will be merged with the correct listing to maintain the integrity of the final results.
Songs receiving votes for both the original and a remix may be combined if they are considered to closely resemble one another.
Voting is now open and will close on 2 March 2026.
